As usual we headed out to the Edmonds Independence Day Parade. This time Isabel was able to really get into. She watched the entire hour happy as can be. There were the regular participants, although this year there was the Off Leash Dog Area group that walked. And we thought of Dad when the Vespas went by. He would have blended in well with that group, if you know what I mean. After the parade we went home for Isabel to nap. After her 3 hour nap (!) we went to some friends that we know through church for their annual 4th of July bash. We left just before the fireworks really started going. Fortunately our girls can sleep through anything so they had no problem with sleeping that night. Kelbi on the other hand didn't do so well.
