Khalila Day 20 (Jabran Day 10,489)

I forgot to mention on Jan 6th that I received the annual Christmas card from Henk. Jeff and I have been sending the same Christmas card back and forth since '94, good thing it hasn't been lost in the mail. I took Chris, Tiffany and Malia to the airport today. They flew down to Florida for a visit with Chris' family. Khalila received an unusual package via US Postal Services. Had we still been at Orange alert level we probably wouldn't have accepted it. From the labeling it appeared to be fully cooked julienne cut Chicken Leg Meat distributed by Sysco. We had Elmer give it a good sniff and he wasn't interested, we knew it couldn't have been Chicken. It turned out to be much better than some old chicken. Neatly packed inside were three handmade gifts from Sheila Giesler (Tiffany's Mom, Tiffany being Chris' Wife, Chris being my co-worker). That's a gift from 4 degrees of connections. There were two blankets, one with puppies, and a nice cozy fleece sleeping bag. I took pics of Khalila with all three.
